hello
I did upgrade scm server from v2 to 3.7.1
After that, the web interface refuses to login with the scmadmin credentials or any other credentials.
git and mercurial are still working - I am able to push-pull. so somehow the username and password is still there, however, the web interface does not allog any user to login

Hi @fabio.parodi !

This sounds weird. Do you use any authentication plugin like LDAP or CAS plugin?

And for the push/pull you are using the same credentials (so no API keys or other users)?

Do you know whether anonymous access is activated in the global settings?

Thanks for answering René

I am using the local users database, no plugin.

Login does not work if I use the URL going through DNS

It works when I use the static IP address in my LAN:

I guess I can survive for the time being.

Have a nice weekend

Fabio

Ah, do you use a reverse proxy for this? If so, maybe you are missing `forwadHeadersEnabled` in your `config.yml`?

Thanks for answering René

forwadHeadersEnabled was = false

I’ve tried setting forwadHeadersEnabled = true

Then systemctl restart scm-server

No way, same problem as before.

I have a lot of things to do and do not have time to spend here; also it is not really my area of expertise à would like to get in contact with your colleagues for a commercial support offer, with the goal of improving the level of cybersecurity.

Thanks and regards

Fabio
