Notification when installed plugins have updates?

It seems that I have to login to the web interface and visit the Administration - Plugins page to see if updates are available and then update them. As someone who very seldom goes there I often miss updates by several months. Is there any way that SCM-Manager can send notifications when there are internal updates available? I looked around and couldn’t find anything.

Soon we will have a newsletter which will keep you up to date about our latest releases (SCM-Versions and Plugins).
